Plastic cups are disposable containers primarily made from plastic; commonly used for holding water, beverages, and other drinks, they are lightweight and convenient to carry.
Common materials include polypropylene (PP) and polycarbonate (PC). Among them, polystyrene (PS) is suitable for long-term use within a temperature range of 0–70°C but is prone to deformation at higher temperatures; regulations in my country explicitly prohibit the use of PC materials in the manufacture of plastic cups intended for infants and young children.
Typical specifications: top diameter 68 mm, height 74 mm, base diameter 48 mm, wall thickness 1.00 mm (100 "si"), and a weight of 11 g per cup.
The production of plastic cups must comply with relevant standards, such as the *National Food Safety Standard: Plastic Materials and Articles Intended to Come into Contact with Food* (GB 4806.7-2016) and *Plastic Drinking Cups* (QB/T 4049-2021).
